Why I do this

My obsession with time began when I lost my dad suddenly in 2020, and everything shifted.
I became laser-focused on how we spend our time, and how much of it gets consumed by things that, while important, aren’t always the most important, or could be handed over.
​
Because time is the one thing we never get back.
And it’s just too precious to waste.
​
I believe we should all be building businesses that give us freedom, the kind that lets us breathe, be present, and actually live the life we’re building.
​
Or, like Dad used to say: “I want to throw out all my suits, make boardshorts my uniform, and spend more time with my family.”
That freedom doesn’t come from working harder, it comes from working smarter: delegating, streamlining, and automating with intention.

That’s why I started Brooke Janet, to take the load off, while keeping your business moving forward.
I’m a high-performing, detail-obsessed doer with a serious love of systems. I’ve led agile delivery teams, automated entire departments, and supported high-level data analysis for Australia’s top banks, law firms, software, and travel companies, so when I say you’re in safe hands, I mean it.

I know what it’s like to run your own business. To juggle client delivery, systems, and strategy, all while trying to enjoy the life you’re working so hard to create. And I’m here to help you do it differently.

When I’m not behind the laptop building beautiful backend magic, you’ll find me soaking up time with friends and family, hiking somewhere green, enjoying a beachside cocktail, or adventuring with my golden girl, Halle - the goodest fur intern.

We’re big believers in building a business that gives you time for the things (and people) you love, but we’re also deeply goal-driven over here.

And the proof? It’s in our workflows...
Or in the fact that we just celebrated Halle’s 1st birthday, after my partner swore there was no way we could raise a working dog in an apartment.
